Kyoshi Bill's healthy recipe of the Week

 in Nerang - Combined Martial Arts Academy Nerang

TUNA BURGERS

APPROX 255 CALS PER SERVE, 4 SERVES

(2 BURGERS PER PERSON)

INGREDIENTS

500g Tuna in springwater (drained)

1 red onion (diced)

1 small bunch chopped parsley

Zest and juice of one lemon

Decent grind of pepper

Pinch of sea salt

50g of almond meal to coat the burgers

1 egg

METHOD

Combine red onion, tuna, parsley, lemon zest and juice, egg, salt and pepper in a food processor until combined

Shape the mix into 8 burger shapes

Quick roll for each burger in the almond meal

Put in the fridge for 20 mins to help them firm

Cook burgers in a non stick pan or on the bbq (minimal oil) until cooked

Serve with garden salad or steamed veges
