Stretching in the morning helps your muscles perform better for the day ahead and during your martial arts training. 

 

According to research, “twenty-seven reports published since 1962 indicated that stretching increases trunk flexibility as well as flexibility about the knee, hip, shoulder and ankle joints.

 

Try doing this standing high-leg bent knee hamstring stretch. It is one of the best stretches for martial arts training:


  • Stand with one foot raised onto a table. 

  • Keep your leg bent and lean your chest into your bent knee.
