Weekly Tip - Attributes of a Great Instructor

"I truly believe that the key to continued success in our schools and the industry as a whole is offering the best classes possible by developing the best instructors possible." - Dave Kovar
An instructor should always demonstrate the benefits of Martial Arts training, not only in the school, but also in the community. The following are some of the most important attributes of outstanding instructors:

Solid Martial Arts Skills. The ideal instructor does not have to be a world champion, however they should strive to be the best version of themselves – continuing to train and refine their skills at home and at school.

Enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is also crucial. Enthusiasm is not taught, it’s caught. If you are not feeling enthusiastic, “FAKE IT ‘TIL YOU MAKE IT.” If the majority of your students have low energy – that’s your fault, not theirs – Time to step it up!
